A repeatable process → an internal tool
A checklist, decision helper, or training experience shaped by the people who do the job.

Staff-led innovation · David Prorok
We create your edge.
Your employees have years of experience and ideas. I interview and collaborate with them to build prototypes and digital products your company can own.
The expertise is already there
Your team knows the workarounds, the questions customers ask, and the ideas that never make it past a meeting. They are domain experts—not product developers.
I bring product strategy and hands-on AI development into that conversation. The goal is not another software subscription. It is a useful tool, a better process, or a new product built around your company’s knowledge.
01
I interview the people who know the work: their recurring problems, hard-won insights, and ideas for better ways to serve customers.
02
Together we define who would use it, what it needs to do, and how we will tell whether it creates real value.
03
I turn the selected idea into a working prototype. Your team tries it, gives feedback, and helps shape the next version.
What could we create?
A checklist, decision helper, or training experience shaped by the people who do the job.
A guided preparation tool or interactive resource that helps customers take the next step.
A way for people to use your company’s expertise between live appointments or consultations.
Illustrative opportunities, not guaranteed outcomes. Each idea earns its place through testing.
Start with interviews and fictional examples—not passwords, financial records, or access to internal systems. We use already-trained AI services, not a project to train my own model on your customers’ data. Provider terms and data handling are reviewed before sensitive information is shared.
Your company can own the bespoke deliverables we agree to build. We put ownership and transfer terms, source-code access, retained pre-existing technology, third-party licenses, and permitted reuse in writing. Staff ideas and business methods can be confidential even without customer data; sharing and recording require agreement.
Security, real-data integrations, testing, deployment, and ongoing support are scoped separately. If company-controlled hosting matters, we plan for that early; moving a proven tool is a separate engineering step, not a one-click export.
Work with David
A 45-minute Zoom discovery conversation helps us choose who to interview and where to begin. From there, we can scope individual paid innovation sessions, a prototype project, or an ongoing AI skunkworks partnership. Everything is custom-built to your specifications and needs; session scope and development terms are agreed before work begins.
