A refugee-led regenerative farming movement.
The story
Youth Refugees United for Development (YRUD) builds self-reliance in Nakivale Refugee Settlement through permaculture, water, poultry, fish farming, and training the next farmers.
YRUD is led by young refugees who are turning land in Nakivale into food, income and skills.
Nourish & Grow funds and supports the work: compost and permaculture plots, water and fish farming, poultry for daily nutrition, and training programs that pass the knowledge on.
David partners with YRUD and built their website, programs and fundraising tools.
