An Event, a Client Launch and a Prototype in One Day: How One Person Runs It All with AI

If one person can do this, your business can too.

A Des Moines AI consultant who is starting a weekly show about real people using AI asked me a simple question: what do you actually use it for? My honest answer was: this week, everything.

What one week looked like

  • A 7-hour event on Sunday: a yoga class, DJ sets, a cacao happy hour, somatic socializers, live performers and a costume contest, coordinated across about 10 people.
  • Onboarding a new client: a proposal, a short-form agreement, three invoices, a calendar invite and a 90-day launch plan.
  • Bringing a collaborator's code into Lovable so the client could click through a first working version the same day.

I run Exponential Enlightenment LLC by myself. Our mission is to advance human consciousness with intelligent technology. None of that week would fit in one person's calendar without AI.

The loop: conversation in, finished work out

Almost everything starts with a conversation. I record the call, and the transcript becomes the raw material:

  • Documents: meeting notes, next steps, proposals and agreement drafts.
  • Website updates: a new page, an article or a booking option, often the same day.
  • Client proposals with a payment button, so a good conversation can become a signed project.
  • Prototypes: a small working tool the client can actually try, instead of a slide deck.

This article itself started as a call transcript. So did the guest booking page it links to.

The tools, and what each is good at

  • ChatGPT for thinking out loud and drafting documents.
  • Lovable for building websites and apps, including this one.
  • Suno for music. I've made more than 9,000 songs with it.
  • Claude for designing client products and working through careful detail.

You don't need all four. Pick the one that matches your biggest pile of work.

If you own a small business, start here this week

  • Record your next client or team call (with permission) and ask an AI to turn the transcript into a summary and a to-do list.
  • Take one email you write over and over, and have AI draft a reusable template in your own voice.
  • Describe one page your website is missing, and build a first draft with a site builder like Lovable.
  • Write down the one task you dread every week. That's your first automation.
